Before December Meeting Reminders

Here are the things you need to know before Thursday’s meeting.

Our Next General Membership Meeting will be on Thursday December 12th at Atonement Lutheran Church

Table Walk: 12:30 Holiday Potluck: 1:00

Our December quilt guild meeting is our annual holiday potluck at 1:00.   Please bring your table setting (plate, utensils and place mat if you have one).  Bring a dish to share (homemade or store bought), appetizer, salad, main dish (if it needs to be kept hot we can do that), dessert, bread and butter, etc. and serving utensils for your dish.  Please put a note by your dish if it contains anything that members might have an allergy to, nuts, peanut butter or if it is gluten free.  It helps if you put your name on any objects that are yours, so we can get them back to you.

We will be collecting for Lincoln County Food Share so bring non perishable food items or money and put your name in the basket to have a chance to win the table decorations.

Thank you,

Hospitality committee

A Message from the President

Dear Guild members,
It has been a pleasure to lead the guild this past year as your president. I look forward to serving you again in 2020. May we make new year  resolutions that include more quilting fun. Let’s join our guild, invite others to join as well and together be the best group around!
Wishing each and everyone to have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
Diane Tillotson, OCQG President

Retreat Update

Hi Everyone:
I sent an email out to everyone on the Retreat List with your balance or to notify you if you have  paid in full.  If you have not received the email please contact Georgia.
We have had several cancellations in one day 🙁 & we went through the waiting list.  So, if you have considered that you would like to attend the Retreat now is the time to put your name on the list.  Unfortunately December & January tend to be the big cancellation months.  Our costs are geared for 60 but on the bright side, there’s a greater chance of getting one of our great prizes.  The Committee has come up with some great prizes this year & hope you will enjoy them.  We are also going to do the donation table again as that seems to be a popular thing.  Just remember that these need to be nice items that you would want to receive yourself or I want to take home lol
We are really looking forward to the Retreat.
Your Retreat Committee,
Georgia, Gail, Jan & Cyndie

Hospitality Committee Helpers Needed

A note from Georgia
I have volunteered for the Hospitality Committee, my first time & I want to do an excellent job.  It’s going to be hard filling in after Beverly & Rosanne sooo, I am asking if anyone wants to work with me?  I promise I don’t bite & I’m not too hard to work with (if you want my opinion).  I’ll be at Thursday’s meeting so come talk to me.
