2023 Quilt – Beneath the Sea (77′ x 77″)
For the guild’s 32nd anniversary, a lovely design by Natalie Crabtree was brought to life by more than thirty members of OCQG. Done in shades of teal and cream with quilting designs that include a mermaid, a ship, and lots of fish and shells, the quilt would be a great addition to a bed or to a wall. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and can be purchased from Meralee Wilson, 541-563-6651. The winning ticket will be drawn at the guild’s show, “Quilts by the Sea,” on August 5, 2023. The winner need not be present to win.
2022 Quilt – Coastal Twilight (84″ x 84″)
The lingering colors of a Newport sunset were the inspiration for fabric choices in the execution of Judy Neimeyer’s pattern ‘Prairie Star’. This exquisite quilt was precision-pieced and constructed by guild member and Featured Quilter, Velma Freudenthal. Quilting by another award winning member, Lisa Taylor, adds dimension and life.
Tickets $1 each or 6 for $5 may be purchased from guild members, local shops, or send email to email@example.com with RAFFLE TICKETS in the subject line. The winning ticket will be drawn Saturday August 6th, 2022 at the Newport Recreation Center. You need not be present to win.

2019 Raffle Quilt – Heading Home
A big thank you to all that helped make this a success. Julia Bailey did the beautiful needle turned appliqué, Jennifer Reinhart did the wonderful quilting, Karen Donobedian did another amazing job with her binding and Dolores Thomas added the WOW factor with a great job on the crystals. Thank you to all the block piercers and Jean Amundson for the name. Cindy McEntee also helped with the color designing. It takes a village or a terrific Guild to make this quilt come together. ——Jane Szabo
