Veteran’s Project Meeting Update

Just an update on our Veterans project. I couldn’t attend, but have heard rave reviews that several attended the workshop & finished several tops. In fact they used all the batting we had at Siletz! Don’t worry, we have more!!

Thank you again to all who participate making blocks, quilt tops, embroidering labels, quilting & binding our quilts. We so appreciate each one & we invite any who haven’t yet to join in. Our workshops are fun & presentations are very heart warming. Since Jan. we have presented 12 quilts . Since we began the project, we have presented 388 quilts in spite of covid. I will be at comm quilts open house Apr. 7, 10AM to receive blocks & cut batt & backing if u need it.

Our next Veterans Project workshop will b April 20, 9:30 – 3:00 “ish”. You get to choose the “ish” part! Bring your sewing machine & equipment. We have fabrics & lots of helpers. Bring your lunch or we can order from across the street. Food is delicious! Hoping to see you there.
