Small Quilts Needed for Silent Auction at 2022 Quilt Show!
We need more quilts for the auction! If you’ve been planning to contribute, now is the time. . . Your quilt and the donation form may be given to Darcy de la Rosa, Joy Johnson, or Jean Amundson anytime. Remember, one of the charities on the forms will be selected to receive half the proceeds from the auction.
We haven’t set size limits this year, trusting that you can figure out “small” on your own. But around 24” or so in each dimension is a good figure to shoot for.
The Newport Library has agreed to display the quilts (sort of a “teaser” and advertisement for our show). They’ll be hung there for the month of July. Library visitors will be able to vote on a favorite; the maker of the winning quilt will be able to pass on a $50 donation to the charity of their choice—another opportunity to do good!
Act now, and then enjoy the auction action at our show. (Sorry—not—I couldn’t resist.) Thanks for your support.
