Finishing School
We invite you to join us on September 26 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Carriage House at the Lincoln County Historical Museum at 545 SW 9th St. in Newport. Come at any time and stay as long as you’d like! Bring a sack lunch or go out–whatever you would rather do.
It is a great time to work on a project without being interrupted. You may bring your machine or hand work, and we will have an iron there for you to use. It’s also a great way to get to know other guild members and get help on a project that you need advice on.
Finishing School is a fun time for all!
Community Quilts New Meeting Location
Community Quilts meets on the first Thursday of the month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at its new location: St. Luke by the Sea Church, 1353 Hwy 101 South, Waldport (south of town on left before Range Dr.).
Come Clamming with Me
Friday, October 11, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
If you’ve never done a byannie bag, this is your chance!
$45 will get you a complete kit, including pattern and everything else you’ll need to make the bag, plus a full day of FUN! This is a fun and easy bag to start with and a great gift idea. Christmas is around the corner.
You will need your sewing machine and regular supplies, including the following:
- Lunch
- Wonder Clips
- Thread
- Stiletto
- Small Ruler
- Scissors and/or Rotary Cutter
- Flex Pen
