Paint Chip Challenge Quilt Clarification
Just to clarify my last blog, I asked you to attach the same paper label on the back of your quilt that is used on the quilts for the show. I just wanted to be sure your quilt had a label so I could identify the maker. You DO NOT register your challenge quilt with the quilt show registrar. Also, please have a hanging sleeve on your quilt as they will be hanging in a special display in the show. If your quit is finished, you can turn it in to Viki West at the block of the month table at the April, May or June meeting. The June meeting is the deadline. They will be on display at the June meeting. Bring your quilt rolled up or in a bag so the guild members can’t see it.
Nan Scott will be sending out a notice about what information she needs when you send her the picture of your quilt. Be sure your quilt is on a plain background and lying as flat as possible when you take the picture. Nan will let the guild know when the on-line voting is open. You will be voting for your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice. There will also be a viewer’s choice ballot box at the show so the attendees can vote. I will be giving out four ribbons.
