If you need a small piece of fabric for one of your projects, bring something you want to match.

We have had several large donations of fabric. Some of it is small pieces that we can’t use for community quilts

We are also sharing this space with our Veterans Project, so you can also pick up materials for their quilts and drop off completed items.

The merchandising committee will have a table outside with their new apparel for purchase- bring your check book.

  • Thanks to our member, Lee Palmer for the space.
  • Thanks to Pam Grindell for donating 5 sets of shelves.
  • Thanks to Jan McQueen for helping me to put them together.
  • Thanks and  Happy Retirement to Ruth Stole of Family Fabrics for our previous storage space in her store.

The Veteran’s Project Group

The veteran’s project group have been keeping busy during this interesting time.  We have delivered several quilts to vets via “porch drop” or even “motor home drop”.  We wanted to get our list cleaned up.  It isn’t the same as a real presentation, but it is nice to brighten up a veteran’s day in this uncertain time.
Since we have delivered so many quilts, we decided we need to have a sew day and work on some new quilts.  Members have been picking up and sewing blocks for us, so we have lots of parts and pieces.
Our Sew Day took place on August 14th from 10-4 at the Siletz Grange Hall.  Help us replenish our quilts for vets.
