Guild Meeting Reminders
Here’s what you need to know for Thursday’s Guild Meeting.

Please make sure you attend our next Oregon Coast Quilters Guild meeting on Thursday, March 12th, at 1:00 p.m. Our guest speaker is Cheryl Brunz from Eugene and the topic is: Turn your Scraps into Head Turning Quilts!
Cynthia will be showing many examples from her vast quilt collection on how to sew scraps in unique and innovative ways. Her love of color and bold designs can be seen in many of her quilts. Cynthia loves to share how to use anywhere from the smallest of scraps to project leftovers — including orphan blocks. She feels there is a home for every scrap!
Community Quilters
Please come by our table at the back of the room to learn how you can help those in need in our communities. We have kits to make tops, “bundles” to quilt, and should have some quilts that need binding and a label sewn on. We also have been requested to provide “receiving blankets” for babies. These are made from a 1-yd piece of flannel, turned on the edges. I am hoping to have some flannel 1-yd cuts available for you to take home and turn, but you are welcome to use up some of that flannel material in your stash! We have toiletry bag kits and hospital pillow kits that need assembly. We are also very short on our inventory of pillowcases, especially for women and girls. These are the standard “burrito“ pillowcases that many of you have made in the past. There are so many ways that you can become a part of our Community of Quilters! See you Thursday!

Camden Bag Workshop
Is everybody getting ready for our workshop this Friday and Saturday? I’m not but getting things put in my bag. Since this is my first workshop I’m providing lunch both days for all, what a deal.
Friday menu-Chicken Salsa with rice, lettuce, and fixings, (not spicy) Cookies
Sat menu- Meatballs, Caesar salad, cookies
If anyone wants something different then plan to bring your own or go out quickly as we won’t be ordering from menus. There will be water, coffee, tea, but bring anything else you want. There might be chocolate too.
See you Friday at Atonement Lutheran, please be setup by 9.
