OCQG Weekly Posts through Fri 8/16/2024 (3 posts)
Finishing School will be meeting on August 22 from 10 to 3:30 at the Carriage House at the Lincoln County Historical Museum at 545 SW 9th St, Newport.
It is a great time to work on a project without being interrupted. Bring your machine or hand work. We will have an iron there for you to use. Come at any time and stay as long as you like. Bring a sack lunch or go out–whatever you would rather do. It’s a great way to get to know other Guild members and get help on a project that you need advice on. Fun time is had by all.
Clam Up Bag Workshop
Friday October 11, 9:00-4:00
If you’ve never done a ByAnnie bag, this is your chance.
$45 will get you a complete kit, everything you need to make the bag, the pattern and a full day of fun.
I will be handing out at the September guild meeting the piece that you need to quilt before class. If you will not be at the September meeting, we can make arrangements to get that to you. Just call me.
This is a fun and easy bag to start with and a great gift idea. Christmas is around the corner.
Things you will need, besides your sewing machine and regular supplies you sew with, for the Clam Bag Class on Oct. 11:
- Lunch
- Wonder clips
- Thread
- Stiletto
- Small ruler
- Scissors and or rotary cutter
- Flex pen
Love to have you join me!
