An Invitation . . . and an Opportunity to Feel Good!

Though I would love to continue chairing the Veterans Committee, I find that it is not working out for me. I promised Twy Hock years ago that we would not let this very important committee die, so I am on a serious search for a new Chairperson.  I would be your mentor and personal assistant for the first year!

You would be working with a very productive and dedicated team of quilters. We have systems set up with mini sub-committtees within the large committee. At this time we have awarded over 700 quilts to Lincoln County Veterans.  It is very important to keep this going! They are so appreciative, and for many of them, it is the first time they have heard “Thank You” or “Welcome Home.”

We are fortunate to be sponsored by the Siletz Grange and have storage for all our materials and a wonderful area to sew in.

Please consider this committee. It is so rewarding! If you are even slightly interested, please give me a call!

Another Time-Sensitive Reminder!

It is time to renew your membership with the Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild.  We have 186 members, yet only 90+ have renewed for next year.  Please renew soon, as your dues must be received to be included in the membership directory.  We will be accepting dues at the December general meeting, payable via credit/debit card, checks or cash.

Dues are $25 for one year (starting Jan. 1, 2026), and if you would like to have your membership directory mailed to you, it is an additional $4. Dues should be received by December 31, 2025 so that production of the directory can get started.

Please download and fill out a Membership Application (even if you are already a member), and select any committee boxes that you are interested in participating in. We are a volunteer organization and rely on our members to help keep our guild able to provide activities for us. It’s also a great way to get to know more people in the guild. If you have no changes to your printed information since the last directory, just write in your name and write in large letters “No Change” and you don’t need to fill the top section out any further.

You can mail your payment and Membership Application to:

I am also able to accept credit cards, but need a text or phone call first to make sure I have the Square set up. My phone number is 541-760-9380.

I do not have every member’s info in my phone contact list. If you send me a text, please include your name so that I won’t consider it spam.

Thanks!
