Viki West will teach. Half-day workshop 9:00-1:00

Create a fabulous fabric bowl! They are fast, fun, and easy; bet
you can’t make just one. The bowls make great gifts or decorative
items. No ¼ inch seams, no precise cutting. These beautiful fabric
bowls are made with Soft and Stable foam stabilizer and NO

charm squares. We will use our rotary cutters with a wavy/pinking
blade for cutting fabric. By the end of the workshop, we will go
home with a finished bowl!  Bring your favorite scraps!  Sign up TODAY!

October 9 Meeting Topic:  The Story of the Murder Quilt!

Simple, straight stitching will create this Carpenter’s Square quilt

Happy Birthday to our September Quilters

Thanks to all those birthday quilters who have contributed snacks to our Guild meetings this year! It’s sure nice to have those snacks at our breaks!

If you have a September birthday and are willing and able, please bring a sweet or savory snack to the Guild meeting on September 11. One- to two- dozen pieces is plenty and snacks can be homemade or store-bought. Please let Laurie Downing know by text or email if you plan to bring a treat for the group, so she can plan ahead for the meeting.  We appreciate your contributions!

Missing Boutique Items

It has come to my attention that there are individuals (members) who did not get back all their items after the boutique sales were closed. After closing the boutique, breakdown is fast and furious, so it is easy for us to place an item/s in the wrong “to be returned” pile.

I want to ask those of you who sold items in the boutique this year, to carefully look through your returned items (items that did not sell) and see if there are any items that don’t belong to you. I am sure you can understand that everyone wants their items to sell or at least be returned to them.

Just in case the boutique team made an error, please check over your returned items to confirm that all items belong to you.  If you find a stray item, please let me know.

A Big Thanks to You All
