Bring your sewing machine, threads and sack lunch. Come enjoy the fellowship of quilters and know you are helping our community with making chemo bags, receiving blankets, walker bags, pillows, burp cloths and adult bibs. Easy sewing and it makes you feel so good to help others. All materials provided.

Quilts I Have Made Over the Years and Classes I’ve Taught
Rebecca Carter, quiltmaker and teacher at Finally Together Quilt Shop for over 20 years, will speak at our April meeting. During her trunk show, Rebecca will inspire us by sharing Rag quilt, Half Log Cabin, Hidden Star Log Cabin, Labyrinth, Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Topper quilts, Peek-A-Boo Pumpkin wall hanging. Nine by Nine, Echo Star Log Cabin, Dot Dot Dash, Over & Down Under flannel quilt and Coastal quilts.

Variation on a Half Log Cabin
What is a “half log cabin”? The block starts with a dark square and then adds rectangles–one light, one dark, one light, one dark, etc., until the block is “big enough.” The square is half dark and half light, with the dark logs going one direction and the light logs going another.
