oakly4670@gmail.com
Price: $55. Book: $20
Rebecca Carter, Quiltmaker and teacher at Finally Together quilt shop for over 20 years, will teach….What is a “half log cabin”? The block starts with a dark square and then adds rectangles–one light, one dark, one light, one dark, etc., until the block is “big enough”. The square is half dark and half light, with the dark logs going one direction and the light logs going another. Blocks can be made with 1.5 inch, 2 inch, or 2.5 inch strips as desired. Rebecca Carter, innovative quilter and teacher, will lead us through a fun-filled class creating half log cabin blocks in colors and sizes of our choice. Great for novice and expert quilters alike.
