Quilt Show Registration is OPEN!
As of Thursday, May 28, we have 44 quilts registered of the 200+ we hope to have for the show. Registration is open until July 4th, but you will save the show chairs, the registrar and various other folks a lot of angst if you get them registered early. The registrar (Darcy) will plan a time to meet with the Lincoln City Quilters to take pictures and assist with registering quilts.
Thanks to the 14 guild members who have already registered quilts AND have submitted pictures.
Calling All Small Quilts!
The quilt show will be here before we know it, and we only have 13 entries for the Small Quilt Auction. The quilts go on display at the Newport Library on July 1st, so we really need them by the June meeting. The auction not only raises money for the guild, but also for local charities.
The quilts should be no more than 100″ in total circumference. If you donate a quilt, please download an entry form from the OCQG website and include suggested “Buy Now” price, starting bid amount, and nominate your charity. If you have any questions, please call Viki West at 541-914-5542.
We also need to borrow some ladders, both 6′ and 8′, to put up and take down the show. If you have ladders you are willing to lend, call Cindy McEntee at 541-270-7610 or Janet Scanlon at 541-270-2480.

Happy June Birthdays, Quilters!
If you have a June birthday and are willing and able, please bring a sweet or savory snack to the Guild meeting on June 11. One- to two- dozen pieces is plenty and snacks can be homemade or store-bought. Please let Laurie Downing know by text or email if you plan to bring a treat for the group, so she can plan ahead for the meeting. We appreciate your contributions!
