What Exactly is Modern Quilting?

From Corvallis Modern Quilt Guild Home Page
Join us for our June guild meeting where our guest speaker, Pattie Dix of Corvallis Modern Quilt Guild, will present an engaging exploration of what makes a quilt modern. Through photos and real quilt examples, she’ll highlight the key design elements and creative approaches that define today’s modern quilting movement. Whether you’re a traditional quilter, modern-curious or somewhere in between, you’ll leave with a sharper eye for recognizing why a quilt might be called modern.

Happy June Birthdays, Quilters!
If you have a June birthday and are willing and able, please bring a sweet or savory snack to the Guild meeting on June 11. One- to two- dozen pieces is plenty and snacks can be homemade or store-bought. Please let Laurie Downing know by text or email if you plan to bring a treat for the group, so she can plan ahead for the meeting. We appreciate your contributions!
